Student Council Elections 2008
As a part of the leadership program, Jr.C Section held Student Council Elections on Aug. 21’2008.
The idea of democracy
was taught to the students by giving them the power to elect who
m they want to represent their ideas and opinions. We spent a great deal of time discussing the importance of being informed voters and thoroughly discussed the qualities that a good student council representative should possess. Students were encouraged to honestly evaluate each candidate to determine his or her ability to be an honest, responsible, and humble representative for the section. Students took the election very seriously, as they put much effort into their campaigning. The quality of the students' speeches and the time and effort that went into their campaigning was very impressive. Voting was done privately in a voting booth.
Although it was a very close race, the new Head Girl of the Jr. C Section is Sundus Karim of Jr.V-T and Syed Saad Farooq of Jr V-C is elected as the Head Boy. Fatima Khan of Jr. V-N is elected as the deputy head girl while Raja Rafay of Jr.V-P is the new deputy head boy.

Portraits of Patriotism
As the month began, teachers prepared soft board displays highlighting important features of Pakistan. It was followed by vibrant assembly presentations by the students of Jr.5, where they performed on different national songs. House meetings were held to discuss, with students, the true meanings of patriotism and the importance of independence. Students were also encouraged to share their ideas. Young patriots decorated the section beautifully with flags and displayed their messages.
Patriotic fervor and gaiety marked the Independence Day celebrations in the Junior C Section.
